About Green CSCS Card
A Green Labourer CSCS Card is a type of Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card issued in the UK that allow tradesmen to enter and work on construction site. It is specifically designed for individuals working as labourers or general operatives at construction sites. This card helps in starting the career in construction vertical.
The Green Labourer CSCS Card is usually valid for five years and can be renewed by retaking the CITB Health Safety & Environment Test and demonstrating that you have maintained your health and safety awareness.
Note: After every 5 years this card needs to be renewed* after passing CITB Test and doing one day training course*.
Important Update: Changes to CSCS Green Labourer Cards Starting February 2025
From 1st February 2025, the first CSCS Green Labourer card issued to anyone will now be valid for only two years. This update is part of CSCS’s effort to meet new safety standards and better support workforce needs.
